MANILA, Philippines – Pumirma ng administrative order si National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Director Melvin Matibag na iimbestigahan nito ang sinumang magbabanta sa First Family, hindi lamang si Davao City Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte.
Sa press conference, sinabi ni Matibag na ang administrative order ay napirmahan ilang araw na ang nakararaan at nilinaw na “it’s not directed only to Mayor Baste Duterte.”
Matatandaan na kamakailan ay sinabi ni Baste na “needed only President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.’s head.”
“It’s directed to everybody who issues a statement that somehow threatens or somehow gives some threat to the First Family, to the government. So that’s everybody,” ayon kay Matibag.
“It so happened that, when that came out, it’s at the same time Mayor Baste had a statement during one gathering, which is probably why he thinks it’s him who will be investigated,” dagdag pa niya.
“But of course, if that will qualify as part of the administrative order we’ve released, then our direction will go there too. It also needs to be done. But it is directed to all.”
Iimbestigahan din, ani Matibag, ang pahayag ng ilang social media accounts ng iba’t ibang personalidad na mayroong pagbabanta sa pangulo at iba pang opisyal ng pamahalaan.
Noong nakaraang linggo, sinabi ni Matibag na sinusuri na ng NBI ang pahayag ni Duterte laban kay Marcos. RNT/JGC
