MANILA, Philippines – Arestado ang isang 36-anyos na lalaki sa Davao City matapos iniaalok sa insidente ng sexual exploitation ang tatlong lalaking indibidwal online, ayon sa Philippine National Police Women and Children Protection Center (PNP WCPC) nitong Huwebes, Marso 26.
Ang suspek ay naaresto noong Marso 19 matapos matunton ng mga operatiba online, sinabi ni WCPC Chief Brig. Gen. Maria Sheila Portento sa panayam sa Camp Crame.
Iniaalok umano ng suspek ang tatlong biktima na sinasabing menor de edad sa halagang P300 hanggang P1,000.
“The three men were offered as minors. The materials here were just their normal pictures,” paliwanag ng WCPC chief.
Ang mga larawan ay mula 2021 hanggang 2023, noong ang tatlong lalaking biktima ay menor de edad pa.
“Our undercover agent realized the photos were just recycled simply because, during the engagement, the suspect could not show a live feed or a video feed. While they were calling, the suspect could not produce the minors. All he could send were the pictures,” sinabi pa ni Portento.
“But, the third victim divulged that he was actually abused… He confirmed that he was abused by the arrested suspect during the time that he was still a minor,” dagdag pa niya.
Sinabi pa ni Portento na nadiskubre ng mga operatiba ang child sexual abuse and exploitation material (CSAEM) sa gadget ng naarestong suspek.
Itinurn-over ng pulisya ang anak ng suspek sa mga awtoridad na tinukoy bilang ‘child-at-risk’ para sa tamang intervention at pag-iingat kasama ang tatlong biktima.
Samantala, ang naarestong suspek ay nasa kustodiya na ng pulisya na nahaharap sa reklamong paglabag sa Republic Act No. 11930 o Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children and Anti-CSAEM Act. RNT/JGC
