MANILA, Philippines – Sinuspinde ang face-to-face classes sa dalawang pampublikong paaralan sa Pateros ngayong Lunes, Hulyo 20 kasunod ng umano’y bomb threat.
Sa abiso ng lokal na pamahalaan, inanunsyo ang kanselasyon ng in-person classes sa Pateros National High School at kalapit na Pateros Elementary School.
“As a precautionary measure and to ensure everyone’s safety, face-to-face classes are suspended today following the receipt of a security threat (bomb threat) at Pateros National High School (Main Campus),” saad sa abiso.
Bilang pag-iingat sinuspinde rin ang face-to-face classes sa kalapit na Pateros Elementary School upang maproteksyunan ang mga estudyante, guro at school personnel.
“The public is encouraged to remain calm, follow the advisories issued by the appropriate authorities, and refrain from spreading unverified information,” sinabi pa ng lokal na pamahalaan.
Sa kabila ng suspensyon ng onsite classes ay magpapatuloy naman ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante sa pamamagitan ng online classes sa pamamagitan ng Alternative Delivery Mode of Learning, ayon sa direktiba ng Department of Education–Schools Division Office of Taguig and Pateros, upang masigurong hindi maaantala ang pag-aaral ng mga estudyante.
