Korean national na nasa INTERPOL red notice list naharang ng BI

MANILA, Philippines – Naharang ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang isang Korean national na kasama sa red notice list ng International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL).

Ayon sa BI, ang 28-anyos na si Kim Yonghun ay sasakay ng flight patungong Incheon, South Korea sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport noong Hunyo 3 nang magpositibo ang pangalan nito sa INTERPOL list.

“Since he was departing to Korea, we subsequently allowed him to board his flight after informing our counterparts in Seoul about his impending arrival there. Thus, he was arrested upon his arrival at the Incheon Airport where Seoul policemen were waiting for him,” sinabi ni BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco.

Wanted ito sa South Korea dahil sa pagnanakaw at pananakit matapos na dukutin nito ang kanyang biktima sa hindi tinukoy na lugar sa Cheonan-si noong Abril.

“He allegedly demanded money from the victim, repeatedly punched the face, burned his body with cigarettes, and threatened to stab him with scissors,” anang BI.

“Kim then robbed the victims’ belongings, including his cellphone, bag and cash, and ran away.”

Bilang resulta, nagtamo ang biktima ng ruptured eardrum, eye contusion at sunog na kinailangan ng apat na linggong medical treatment.

Inilabas ang arrest warrant ng district court sa Daejeon City noong Mayo 22.

Inilagay na ng BI sa blacklist ang naturang Korean national kung saan bawal na itong muling pumasok sa bansa. RNT/JGC
