MANILA, Philippines – Inaresto ang isang 42-anyos na lalaki matapos na magbiro tungkol sa bomba sa Davao International Airport sa Davao City.
Inaresto ng PNP Aviation Security Group (PNP AVSEGROUP) ang isang lalaki na pasakay na sana ng kanyang flight pa-Singapore.
Ayon sa mga awtoridad, sinabi umano ng pasahero na walang “babasaging gamit sa loob ng kanyang bagahe, bomba lang”, nang tanungin ng mga tauhan ng Customer Service Agents (CSAs) ng Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions Inc. (PAGSS) sa check-in counter.
Dito na inaresto ang pasahero sa tulong ng Davao International Airport Police Station (DIAPS).
“Subsequently, airport authorities effected an arrest on the suspect while informing him of the nature of the offense made and his constitutional rights in a language he understands, utilizing an alternative recording device,” sinabi ng PNP Aviation Security Group.
Dinala sa Sasa Police Station ang lalaki at mahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa PD 1727 o malicious dissemination of false information o willful making ng anumang banta na may kinalaman sa bomba.
“The PNP AVSEGROUP will never allow lawbreakers to succeed in their attempt to interrupt airport operations. Rest assured that we will firmly enforce the law to its fullest extent,” pahayag ni PNP Aviation Security Group director Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano. RNT/JGC
