MANILA, Philippines – Bumisita si Vice President Sara Duterte sa bahay ni dating Vice President Leni Robredo sa Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Ayon sa tagapagsalita ni Robredo na si Barry Gutierrez, nasa Naga si Duterte para sa Penafrancia Festival.
“Former VP Leni Robredo was in Naga for the Penafrancia Festival. While she was there, VP Sara Duterte visited her at her house,” pahayag ni Gutierrez sa panayam ng GMA News.
Nilinaw naman ni Gutierrez na ang pagkikita ng dalawa ay personal at hindi political.
“VP Leni was informed of the visit only minutes before when she was told that VP Sara was already on the way. The visit lasted for about an hour,” dagdag ni Gutierrez.
Sa pahayag ng Office of the Vice President (OVP), sinabi na inimbitahan si Duterte ng mga kaibigan nitong Bicolano para dumalo sa centennial anniversary mass sa Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Peñafrancia nitong Biyernes, Setyembre 20.
“The same friend also arranged a casual meeting with former Vice President Leni Robredo,” saad sa pahayag.
“During her stay in Naga, Vice President Duterte visited several prominent Bicol personalities and heard Mass with ordinary Bicolanos. She neither looked desperate nor distressed,” dagdag pa nito. RNT/JGC
