MANILA, Philippines – May katamtamang tsansa na maging isang bagyo ang low-pressure area (LPA) sa labas ng Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) na maaaring pumasok sa PAR mamayang hapon, o Miyerkules ng umaga.
Ayon kay Pagasa weather specialist Veronica Torres, maaaring magdala ng mga pag-ulan ang LPA sa oras na pumasok sa PAR at inaasahang lalapit sa bansa.
“Once it enters and gradually approaches our country, it could potentially bring rainfall to a large part of the nation,” ani Torres.
“This low pressure has a moderate chance of becoming a full-blown typhoon, meaning that in the next 24 hours the chance of a typhoon is low, but beyond 24 hours its chances are increasing,” dagdag pa nito.
