MANILA, Philippines – Hinimok ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang mga Filipino na gamitin ang eGovPH super app para sa mga transaksyon sa pamahalaan.
“I made sure that while the code was still being written, my constant reminder was that the app needs to be simple. It should be very easy to use and to be understood by everyone,” sinabi ni Marcos sa pinakabagong episode sa kanyang podcast.
“My instruction was that our eGovPH app should be as easy as using the Facebook app,” dagdag niya.
“Users do not need to be taught how to use the app; what we need to do is just inform the public that an app like this is already available.”
Inilunsad ng Department of Information and Communications Technology ang eGovPH super app noong Disyembre 2022 upang padaliin ang lahat ng transaksyon ng pamahalaan at palakasin ang digitalization ng Marcos administration.
Ang mga gagamit ng app ay maaaring maghain ng aplikasyon, magtrack ng request, mag-verify ng kanilang pagkakakilanlan at gumawa ng online payments sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga cellphone, tablet o computer nang hindi na kailangang umalis pa ng bahay.
Madali ring ma-aaccess dito ang digital version ng kanilang mga government ID kabilang ang national ID, senior citizen’s ID, Professional Regulation Commission ID, overseas Filipino worker ID, at ibsa pa.
May access din ang app sa Social Security System, Government Service Insurance System, Philippine Health Insurance Corp., Pag-IBIG Fund, at iba pang ahensya ng pamahalaan.
Mula nang ilabas sa publiko, ang eGovPH app ay nakakuha na ng mahigit 12 milyong user downloads at mahigit 150 milyong transaksyon.
“Because that’s the only way to do it. You cannot operate in 2025 when you need to physically go to government offices, manually fill out forms and fall in line for hours just to transact with the government,” sinabi ng Pangulo.
“[With the app] even the senior citizens, those who do not know how to use computers and even students can easily do government transactions,” dagdag pa.
Nangako si Pangulong Marcos na lalabanan ang korapsyon at red tape sa pamamagitan ng eGovPH system.
“No lines, no fixers, no corruption. That’s what we get because of the eGov app and one-stop shop that we inaugurated,” anang Pangulo noong Hulyo. RNT/JGC
