MANILA, Philippines- Hinimok ni National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin ang mga pulis na maging propesyonal sa pagsasagawa ng kanilang tungkulin at responsibilidad sa May 12 midterm elections.
Gayundin, tiniyak ni Aberin na handa na ang mga pulis ng Metro Manila para magbantay sa seguridad ng national at local polls.
“In accordance with the strict instructions of the chief PNP (Philippine National Police) Gen. Rommel Marbil, let us promote the sacredness of the electoral process by ensuring that we will be professional in dispensing our security duties,” pahayag ni Aberin nitong weekend.
“Let us give the people an environment where they can exercise their right to suffrage freely, without fear, influence and intimidation.”
Nitong Biyernes, sinabi ni Marbil na isasailalim ang PNP sa full alert status mula May 3 hanggang May 15 para tiyakin ang seguridad ng eleksyon. RNT/SA
