Nick, nanghinayang sa dream concert with Nora!

Manila, Philippines- Muli ay nasa Pinas na naman ang OPM artist na si Nick Vera Perez.

Gabi ng May 2 nang lumapag ang sinasakyan niyang eroplano galing sa Chicago, USA.

Sa mediacon ay isiniwalat ni Nick na meron sana siyang nilulutong proyekto kasama ang namayapa nang si Nora Aunor.

Sayang nga lang at hindi na ito matutuloy dahil namaalam na ang entertainment icon.

“‘Yung mama ko kasi, fan na fan ‘yan ni Nora. Kaya may plano talaga akong gumawa ng show with her and it is really my dream,” sabi ni Nick.

Nick shared his heartfelt condolences to the Noranians following the passing of Superstar and National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts. “Her legacy will live on in our hearts. It’s heartbreaking that I never got the chance to share the stage with her.”

Marami ang hindi nakakaalam pero muntik na palang pumasok sa showbiz si Nick some years back nu’ng eatudyante pa siya.

La-batch nga raw sana niya sina Beth Tamayo kung nagkataon.

“Hindi kasi kaya ng schedule ko noon kasi nag-aaral ako.

“When I was growing up, okay naman ang pamilya namin pero I would really want to finish my studies first,” sabi ni Nick.

Si Nick ay nakatapos ng Bachelor of Science in Nursing sa UST. Nakatapos na rin siya ng Master Degree at ng PhD in Nursing.

As of the moment, Nick is promoting his new album ‘Parte Ng Buhay Ko’.

In fact, Nick is all set for his 2025 album tour to promote his fourth all-original OPM album, Parte Ng Buhay Ko.

First released online in 2022, the album continues to touch the hearts of many listeners. All nine songs were specially written for Nick by composer Adonis Tabanda.

Some of the songs on the album are “Biyaya,” “Paghilom Ng Sugat,” “Titig,” “Lihim Ng Puso,” “Kalendaryo,” “May Tayo Ba?,” “Pangarap Ko’y Ikaw,” “Sana’y Mapansin,” and the title track “Parte Ng Buhay Ko.”

Each song tells a story of love, pain, hope, and healing.

To bring his music closer to fans and supporters, Nick has lined up a schedule of appearances on television, radio, malls, and outreach events, including the following: May 6 – Letters & Music on NET25; May 7 – John Lemon On Air on Eagle FM 95.5; May 11 – KCC Mall de Zamboanga – Special Mother’s Day celebration with his beloved mother, Visitacion Tan; May 14 – Eto Pala Ang Latest (E.P.A.L) on DWAN Radio and Marisol Academy; May 15 – Smile World Charity Outreach at the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); May 16 – WEJ-A Minute on Radyo Agila DZEC 1062; May 18 – Live performance at Robinsons Novaliches; May 21 – WISH 107.5 Bus; May 23 – Sta. Lucia Mall and May 25 – Isetann Recto.

Joining Nick on tour are the talented Eternal Diva Ms. Evelyn O. Francia and rising singer Hannah Shayne, who will also perform on stage.

Apart from his music career, Nick is committed to community service.

During his tour, he will visit DSWD to support charity initiatives focused on compassion and healing.

Despite his busy schedule, Nick cherishes family time, especially with his mother, Visitacion Tan. “She’s been my rock. After all this hard work, she deserves a vacation, and I can’t wait to finally give her that,” he shared.

A big fan of Martin Nievera, Nick openly expressed his dream of collaborating with the Concert King.

“He has been a huge influence on my music. A collaboration with him would be a dream come true,” Nick said.

Looking ahead, Nick is already working on his fifth studio album, a gospel collection titled ‘Unafraid,’ set for release and a promotional tour in 2025.

He is also in the early stages of developing his sixth album, a high-energy dance-themed project scheduled to launch in the fall. JP Ignacio
