MANILA, Philippines – Naputol ang operasyon ng Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) ngayong Lunes ng umaga matapos matukoy ang problema sa isa sa mga tren nito.
Ang apektadong tren ay nasa Gil Puyat Station sa Makati City, sinabi ng Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC), pribadong operator ng LRT-1, sa isang post sa X.
Dahil dito, naapektuhan ang mga biyahe ng LRT-1 mula Dr. Santos Station sa Parañaque City hanggang Fernando Poe Jr. Station sa Quezon City.
“As of 9:30 AM, September 29, 2025 A stop for safety has been put in place from Dr. Santos to Fernando Poe Jr.,” ayon sa LRMC.
“The technician is already on board working on the fault of the affected train located at Gil Puyat,” dagdag nito.
Bago ito, sinabi ng kumpanya na bumagal ang takbo ng mga tren sa 25 kph alas-9:22 ng umaga dahil sa isyu sa apektadong tren.
“Advisory: As of 9:22 AM, September 29, 2025,a 25 KPH restriction has been put in place from Fernando Poe Jr. to Dr. Santos. The technician is already on the way to work on the train fault of the affected train. Please allow an additional travel time of about 15 minutes,” saad ng LRMC.
Humingi ng paumanhin ang kumpanya sa mga commuters dahil hindi nito masabi kung anong oras magpapatuloy ang normal na operasyon.
“We apologize, as we cannot provide the exact time. The technician is already working on the train fault of the affected LRV. We will do our best to resolve this immediately. Thank you for your understanding, and ingat po sa biyahe, KasamBiyahe!” anito. RNT/MND
