MANILA, Philippines – Nasa kabuuang P1.2 bilyong halaga ng cash aid at mga programa ang ipamamahagi sa nasa 50,000 residente sa Oriental Mindoro, sinabi ni House Speaker Martin G. Romualdez.
“This is the result of the call of the administration of President Marcos Jr., to bring government services closer to the people, especially those related to providing financial assistance and rice to our countrymen,” ani Romualdez.
Ang ayuda ay ibibigay sa pamamagitan ng Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), isang programa na nagsisilbing one-stop shop para sa government services, katulad ng driver’s license renewal, PhilHealth registration, at aplikasyon sa mga pasaporte, clearance at memberships.
Para sa Oriental Mindoro leg, nasa 42 government agencies ang magbibigay ng 265 serbisyo sa nasa 50,000 benepisyaryo.
Kabuuang P1.2 bilyong halaga ng assistance programs din ang ipagkakaloob, kasama ang P278 milyong cash aid.
Kabilang sa cash aid programs ay ang province-wide payout ng Department of Social Welfare and Development sa mahigit 28,000 benepisyaryo sa halagang P62 milyon, at DOLE payout sa 9,000 oil spill-affected individuals sa halagang P115 milyon.
Mamamahagi rin ang BPSF ng P145 milyong halaga ng farm machinery sa 52 farmers’ cooperatives at mga asosasyon sa ilalim ng Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund Mechanization Program.
“We are expanding the programs offered in our Serbisyo Fairs to include assistance for our farmers’ cooperatives. This farm machinery will help boost the harvest of our rice farmers,” ani Speaker Romualdez.
“The aim is to visit all 82 provinces of the Philippines to let our countrymen feel the Bagong Pilipinas of PBBM,” dagdag pa niya.
Ang BPSF ay nagbukas sa Oriental Mindoro National High School nitong Sabado, Marso 9, sa ceremonial turnover ng mahigit 20 programa. RNT/JGC
