MANILA, Philippines- Inihayag ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) nitong Lunes na nakumpiska nito ang P146 milyong halaga ng ilegal na droga mula Jan. 1 hanggang April 4 ng taong ito.
Nadakip din ng anti-narcotics teams ng NCRPO ang 3,683 suspek sa 2,386 anti-drug operations.
Sa nasabat na ilegal na droga, 21,273.25 gramo ay shabu na nagkakahalaga ng P145.87 milyon; 7,977.69 gramo ng marijuana (P957,322); 17.30 gramo ng cocaine (P91,690); at 112.50 gramo ng kush (P168,750).
“Team NCRPO will elevate our relentless, intel-driven, and procedure-based campaign against illegal drugs anchored on the ultimate goal of eliminating the illegal drug menace that destroys the lives of affected families,” pahayag ni NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Anthony Aberin.
Sa parehong period, sinabi ni Aberin na bumaba rin ang crime rate sa Metro Manila ng 23.63 porsyento– 1,305 mula sa 1,710 insidente noong 2024.
Sinabi pa ng opisyal na nahuli ng NCRPO ang 1,764 most wanted persons at 2,633 pang wanted persons.
