MANILA, Philippines- Nasamsam ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Davao ang nasa P17.7 milyong halaga ng mga ismagel na sigarilyo sa isinagawang operasyon katuwang ang mga tauhan ng Task Force Davao noong Mayo 23, 2024.
Ayon sa BOC, kabilang sa kanilang mga nakumpiska ay 15,150 reams ng sigarilyo, 35 sako ng sari-saring sapatos, at 1 unit ng trak.
Nabatid na sasampahan ng BOC-Davao ang mga kinakailangang kaso laban sa mga suspek dahil sa paglabag sa Republic Act No. 10863, na kilala rin bilang Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
