MANILA, Philippines – Mahigit P3.6 milyong halaga ng tulong ang naipamahagi na ng pamahalaan sa mga biktima ng Bagyong Aghon.
Sa pahayag ng Department of Social Welfare and Development nitong Huwebes, Mayo 30, apektado ni Aghon ang mahigit 36,549 pamilya o 128,511 indibidwal sa 773 barangay sa National Capital Region (NCR), Ilocos, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, at Eastern Visayas.
Nasa kabuuang 57 evacuation centers sa NCR at CALABARZON ang inilaan para sa 652 apektadong pamilya o 2,321 indibidwal.
“The DSWD, through its field offices, already handed over assistance to the localities in CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol region, Western Visayas, and Eastern Visayas affected by the onslaught of the typhoon,” ayon kay DSWD spokesperson Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao.
“Our FOs are also continuously distributing family food packs (FFPs) to the affected families. On May 26, our FO V, together with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (SWAD) of Albay provided hot meals to the stranded passengers in the different ports in the region,” dagdag ni Dumlao.
