MANILA, Philippines – Sinuri ng Senate Committee on Finance ang panukalang ₱332.5 bilyong pondo ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) para sa 2027.
Pinangunahan ni Finance Committee Chairperson Sen. JV Ejercito ang deliberasyon, kasama sina Senate President Win Gatchalian at Senators Ping Lacson at Tito Sotto.
Dumalo rin si DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla kasama ang mga opisyal ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), at iba pang attached agencies.
Bahagi ang ₱332.5 bilyong panukalang pondo ng ₱7.2 trilyong National Expenditure Program para sa 2027. Gagamitin ito para suportahan ang public safety, peace and order, local governance at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo sa buong bansa. RNT/MDS/larawan kuha ni Cesar Morales
