MANILA, Philippines- Sa pagbabago ng liderato ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), hinimok ni House Committee on Information and Communications Technology member at Nueva Ecija Rep. Ria Vergara si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos Jr. na tiyaking maipagpapatuloy ang naumpisahang digitalization sa ahensya.
Tinukoy ni Vergara ang e-Gov PH Super App na isa sa mahalagang IT initiatives na nasimulan na ng DICT.
“The launch of the e-GOV PH Super App marked a significant step forward in modernizing government services, offering paperless, efficient and convenient way for Filipinos to access essential services,” paliwanag ni Vergara.
Ang eGov PH Super App ay nagkaroon na ng groundbreaking digital platform na inilunsad noong 2023 sa pangunguna ni Undersecretary David Almirol.
Ang eGov Ph ay isang app kung saan pinagsama-sama sa iisang platform ang lahat ng government services.
Sa ganitong paraan ang lahat ng transaksyon sa mga ahensya ng gobyerno ay magiging mabilis, ani Vergara, hindi na kailangang magbukas ng maraming websites at hindi na rin kailangang pumunta sa mga tanggapan ng gobyerno.
“This digital transformation has led to faster and improved efficiency across numerous agencies. Merely two years after it was launched, the DICT already reported that around 30 national government agencies have bee integrated into the platform with efforts underway to onboard more,” paliwanag ni Vergara.
Sinabi ni Vergara na maraming programa ang DICT na naumpisahan na. Aiya, hindi ito dapat maantala dahil lamang sa pagpapalit ng kalihim.
“The Marcos administration needs to develop a clear transition plan, including knowledge transfer for ongoing projects. At the same time, it must appoint capable leaders committed to digital transformation,” giit pa ni Vergara.
Una nang inanunsyo ng Malacanang na nagbitiw sa pwesto si DICT Sec. Ivan John Uy at tinanggap na ito ni Pangulong Marcos.
Sa ngayon ay wala pang kapalit si Uy at nagtalaga pansamantala ng officer in charge sa DICT. Gail Mendoza
