MANILA, Philippines – WALANG PAPEL ang Ehekutibong sangay ng pamahalaan sa 4th impeachment complaint na isinampa laban kay Vice-President Sara Duterte.
Sa press conference ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sa Kalayaan Hall, sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang, araw ng Huwebes, Pebrero 6, sinabi ng Chief Executive na malabong makialam ang Malakanyang sa usaping ito dahil constitutional mandate aniya ng Kongreso ang ituloy ang impeachment complaints.
“No. the executive cannot have a hand in the impeachment. Walang role ang executive sa impeachment. Of course, did we discuss it with the Speaker, did we discuss it with the other congressmen? Of course. And that tinatanong, anong plano ninyo? Ano ba talagang gusto ninyong gawin? And the – nandito na ito, hindi na namin maiwasan,” diing pahayag ng Pangulo.
“But again, what the House has done is clearly within – is clearly the mandate that they have been – the Constitutional mandate that they have to proceed with the impeachment complaints,” ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos.
“So, that’s why I don’t – I think they are just following the procedure and na ang puno’t dulo nito ay na-transmit nila ang impeachment complaint sa upper House,” aniya pa rin.
Winika pa ng Pangulo na depende na aniya sa Senado kung paano nila pipiliin na hawakan ang nasabing usapin.
“Hindi pa maliwanag kung ano ‘yung plano ni Senate President (Chiz Escudero) at saka ‘yung ating mga senador kung papaano nila gagawin. If they will immediately convene, if they will still study the rules, if they are going to wait until the next session.So, we’ll have to wait until they decide on how it’s going to be,” ang sinabi ng Punong Ehekutibo.
Sa ulat, sinabi ni House Secretary-General Reginald Velasco na 215 kongresista ang lumagda sa 4th impeachment complaint na higit pa sa 1/3 na kailangang lagda ng 306 mambabatas para maiakyat ang reklamo sa Senado.
Napagalaman na si Presidential Son at Ilocos Norte Rep. Sandro Marcos ang unang pumirma sa ikaapat na impeachment complaint laban kay VP Duterte.
“There is a motion to direct the Secretary General to immediately endorse to the Senate the impeachment complaint having been filed by more than one-third of the membership of the House or a total of members.” ang sinabi ni House Speaker Ferdinand Romualdez.
Kabilang sa ground ng impeachment ang conspiracy to assassinate President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Unang Ginang Liza at Speaker Romualdez; malversation of P612.5-M confidential funds; bribery and corruption in DepEd; extra judicial killings; betrayal of pubic trust at large scale corruption.
Itinalaga naman bilang miyembro ng prosekusyon sina representatives Gerville Luistro, Romeo Acop, Rodge Gutierrez, Joel Chua, Jil Bongalon, Loreto Acharon, Marcelino Libanan, Arnan Panaligan, Isabel Maria Zamora, Lorenz Defensor, at Jonathan Keith Flores.
Ang ikaapat na impeachment complaint ay hiwalay pa sa tatlong naunang reklamo laban sa Bise Presidente. Hindi na didinggin ang tatlong reklamo dahil nahigitan ito ng ikaapat na impeachment na inindorso ng 215 mambabatas.
Inihain ang 4th impeachment nitong Pebrero 5 at pinagtibay rin sa mismong huling araw ng sesyon kahapon.
Dahil 102 lang ang kailangang numero ng mga mambabatas upang ma-”fast tracks” ang proseso ng impeacimpeachment kaya hindi na ito daraan sa deliberasyon ng House Committee on Justice at ididiretso na sa Senado.
Dahil dito, hawak na ng Senado ang bola para idetermina ang pagtatanggal sa puwesto laban kay VP Sara. Kris Jose
