MANILA, Philippines – Walang planong biyahe si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ngayong Bagong Taon at nakatutok sa pagsusuri sa proposed 2026 General Appropriations Act (GAA), ayon kay Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
“The president will stay here and will not travel. He will welcome the New Year with his family and loved ones,” sinabi ni Castro.
Nang kumpirmahin naman kung nasa Palasyo ang Pangulo, ang tugon ni Castro ay:
“Yes… he will not travel.”
Nitong Martes, Disyembre 30 ay sinabi ni Executive Secretary Ralph Recto na naipadala na ang GAA sa Executive Branch nitong Lunes, kaparehong araw nang maratipikahan ito ng Kongreso.
Siniguro naman ni Recto na maisasabatas ang badyet sa pagsisimula nang taon at hindi maaantala ang operasyon ng gobyerno. RNT/JGC
