MANILA, Philippines- Nagbabala ang Philippine Army sa publiko, partikular sa mga interesadong maging sundalo, laban sa pekeng post hinggil sa umano’y umiiral na recruitment sa militar– walang age limit at kung saan nakasaad na tumatanggap ng K-12 graduates.
Sinabi ng Philippine Army na peke ang impormasyong naka-post sa Facebook page na Filipino Gazette.
“Another Facebook post bearing an unverified application link and claims that there is no age limit in the Philippine Army application has been circulating online,” pahayag nito.
“The Philippine Army reminds the public that official recruitment announcements and online application forms will be found on the Join the Army’s official website at https://jointhearmy.ph/,” paalala pa ng Army.
Sa Facebook post, sinabi nitong tumatanggap ang Philippine Army ng mayroong 72 units sa kolehiyo o Senior High School graduate, at wala umanong age limit para sa mga aplikante.
Base sa mga lehitimong rekisitos, ang mga aplikante para sa Army ay kinakailangang college graduate at hindi bababa sa 21-anyos subalit hindi mas matanda ng isang araw sa 27 taong gulang sa oath-taking ceremony.
“We also remind everyone that the Philippine Army does not accept payment of any kind from its applicants and aspiring soldiers,” pahayag pa nito.
Hinikayat naman ng Philippine Army ang netizens na i-report ang parehong Facebook pages na nagpo-post ng pekeng recruitment. RNT/SA
