MANILA, Philippines- Umakyat ang Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa world ranking sa tactical operation matapos pumwesto sa ika-25 mula sa 103 bansa na nakilahok sa kompetisyon ngayong taon sa United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Malaki ang itinaas ng kasalukuyang ranking ng PNP sa UAE SWAT Challenge 2025 kumpara sa ika-45 pwesto noong 2023 at ika-34 noong 2024.
“Your performance on the international stage brings immense pride to the Philippine National Police and our country. It is a clear reflection of our continuous efforts to elevate our tactical capabilities to match global standards,” pahayag ni PNP chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil.
“More than that, your participation has allowed us to forge stronger bonds with law enforcement agencies worldwide, exchange knowledge, and adopt best practices that will further enhance our operational effectiveness,” dagdag niya.
Sinusubok ng UAE SWAT Challenge ang kapabilidad ng top tactical units ng mga bansa sa high-pressure scenarios, sinusuri ang kanilang precision, teamwork, adaptability, at operational excellence.
“With this achievement, the PNP reaffirms its dedication to upholding public safety and security at the highest standards, strengthening global law enforcement partnerships, and continuously improving its operational effectiveness,” giit ni Marbil.
Ginawaran ang SWAT delegation ng PNP ng Medalya ng Kasanayan bilang pagkilala sa kanilang husay sa prestihiyosong international competition.
Ito rin ang team na namayagpag sa PNP SWAT Challenge 2025 na inorganisa ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO). RNT/SA
