MANILA, Philippines – Hanggang sa Miyerkules, October 1, ay tatapusin na ng Kamara ang plenary debates nito ukol sa P6.793-trillion General Appropriations Bill (GAB).
Pagkatapos ng plenary debates ay isusunud na ang period of amendments hanggang sa October 10, kasama dito ang pagpasa sa 2026 GAB o House Bill 4058 sa ikalawa at ikatlong pagbasa.
Sa ngayon ay nagpapatuloy ang plenary debates sa proposed budgets ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Health (DOH) at Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Sa Setyembre 30 ay nakaiskedyul naman ang plenary deliberations ng Office of the Vice President (OVP), Departments of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Civil Service Commission (CSC) at Career Executive Service Board (CESB).
Sa Oct. 1 ay nakaiskedyul ang plenary deliberations ng Office of the President (OP), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at Department of Transportation (DoTr).
Sa oras na maaprubahan ng Kamara ang GAB sa ikatlo at huling pagbasa ay saka ito isusumite sa Senado para sa pagrebyu, sa oras na maaprubahan ng Senado ang bersyon nito sa budget ay saka magkakaroon ng Bicameral Conference Committee.
Target na bago matapos ang taon ay maaprubahan ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang 2026 budget. Gail Mendoza
