MANILA, Philippines – Pinalutang ng prosekusyon ng Kamara ang posibilidad ng pag-refer ng bribery allegations laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte sa Department of Justice (DOJ) at Office of the Ombudsman.
“Huwag kayong mawalan ng pag-asa dito sa bribery,” sinabi ni House lead prosecutor Representative Gerville Luistro sa news forum nitong Sabado, Oktubre 10.
Ang pahayag ni Luistro ay kasunod ng paghain ng House prosecution team ng manifestation sa Senate impeachment court na nag-aalis ng Article III sakop ang bribery allegations, mula sa impeachment trial ni Duterte.
“Kung kailangan, we will be making the necessary endorsement so that the Ombudsman or the DOJ can conduct the preliminary investigation for the possible filing of the case of bribery against respondent [Duterte] and officials [of] DepEd [Department of Education],” ani Luistro.
Nakapagpresenta na ang House prosecution panel ng ebidensya sa tatlo sa apat na articles of impeachment na orihinal na naihain laban kay Duterte.
