MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ng nakakulong na
self-appointed son of God at founder ng Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) na si Apollo Quiboloy na mananalangin siya para sa isang “Divine Intervention” para sa pagkakaaresto ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Ito ang sinabi ni Quiboloy sa mensaheng binasa ng legal counsel niyang si Kaye Laurente sa prayer rally sa Liwasang Bonifacio sa Maynila, na nananawagan para sa paglaya at pagpapauwi kay Duterte na ngayon ay nasa detention facility ng International Criminal Court (ICC) sa The Hague, The Netherlands.
“Unlawfulness and illegality seem to dominate today’s landscape. I am praying for Divine Intervention to protect us not only from criminals but also from those in power who should be using their authority to safeguard the Filipino people instead of oppressing and persecuting them,” ani Quiboloy.
“I am horrified by the news of what transpired at Villamor Air Base, where Tatay Digong was reportedly held and coerced to fly to the Netherlands against his will to face a trial that the world knows is not necessarily legal,” dagdag pa niya.
Inalala ni Quiboloy ang pagkakaaresto sa kanya noong Setyembre sa KJC compound sa Davao City dahil sa reklamo ng umano’y pang-aabuso sa mga bata at human trafficking.
“These events are shocking to the Filipino psyche because such actions are uncharacteristic of our culture. This lack of compassion, respect, honor, and dignity displayed by our law enforcers is profoundly un-Filipino,” sinabi ni Quiboloy.
Matatandaan na inaresto si Duterte noong Martes sa bisa ng arrest warrant mula sa ICC dahil sa umano’y crimes against na ginawa nang mga panahong ang Pilipinas ay miyembro pa ng tribunal, o mula Nobyembre 1, 2011 hanggang Marso 16, 2019. RNT/JGC
