MANILA, Philippines- Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang reorganization o muling pagsasaayos ng Strategic Action and Response (STAR) office upang tiyakin ang pagkakaugnay-ugnay ng “organizational structure at functions” nito.
Matatandaang ang STAR office ng Cabinet Secretary ay itinatag para i-promote ang napapanahong aksyon at pagtugon sa mga concern o alalahanin ng publiko.
Sa kanyang Executive Order No. 38, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na ang Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration (ODESGA), ay dapat na may superbisyon at kontrol sa STAR Office at sa lahat ng constituent offices nito.
Idagdag pa rito, inatasan ni Pangulong Marcos ang abolisyon ng posisyon ng Cabinet Undersecretary sa STAR office.
“The STAR office shall now be headed by an Assistant Secretary who shall directly report to the Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration (DESGA),” ayon sa EO.
Ipinahihiwatig ng EO na ang DESGA ay mayroong “continuing authority” para i-assess at suriin ang “organizational structure, staffing pattern, at corresponding qualification standards” para sa lahat ng posisyon sa ilalim ng STAR Office.
“For this purpose, the DESGA, in coordination with the Office of the Deputy Secretary for Finance and Administration, shall submit to the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), for review and approval, a revised organizational structure and staffing pattern of the STAR Office,” ang nakasaad pa sa EO.
