MANILA, Philippines- Gagamit na sa taong ito ang hudikatura ng artificial intelligence (AI)-powered voice-to-text transcription platform matapos ang isang taon na pilot testing sa buong bansa.
Sinabi ni Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo na nagsimula nang bumili ng lisensya ang Korte Suprema para magamit na ang AI transcription platform sa lahat ng lebel ng hudikatura.
Ang AI-powered voice-to-text transcription tools ay na pilot test sa Sandiganbayan at sa 41 city, municipal courts at regional trial courts sa buong bansa.
Gamit ang AI-driven transcription platform na Scriptix, lumabas na halos 50 porsyentong nabawasan ang oras sa pag-transcribe habang sa ibang korte ay umabot ng 80 porsyento ang natapyas na oras sa transcription.
“This led to faster turnaround of court transcripts and allowed personnel to redirect their efforts toward more substantive judicial tasks,” ani Gesmundo.
Sa patuloy na paggamit nito ng mga court personnel sa mga pilot tested court, napabuti ng mula 70 porsyento hanggang 95 porsyento ang accuracy ng sistema.
Sa kabila ng paggamit ng AI-powered transcription tools, tiniyak ni Gesmundo sa mga court stenographer na mananatiling mahalaga ang kanilang trabaho sa modernisasyon ng hudikatura.
Hindi aniya papalitan ng AI technology ang mga court stenographer sa halip ay magsisilbi itong suporta sa pagganap nila ng trabaho.
