MANILA, Philippines – Sinabi ni Senate President Vicente “Tito” Sotto III na siya ay makikipagkita sa Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) kasabay ng imbestigasyon sa iregularidad sa flood control projects ng pamahalaan.
“[They] want me to brief them on Senate procedures regarding budget amendments and insertions,” sinabi ni Sotto.
Kinumpirma rin niya na nakipagkita siya nitong Lunes, Setyembre 22 kay Senate blue ribbon committee chairman Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson at Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla upang magkaroon ng “consultations regarding [the] hearing tomorrow.”
Batay sa website ng Senado, nakatakdang ipagpatuloy ng blue ribbon committee ang motu proprio inquiry, in aid of legislation, sa maanomalyang flood control projects sa Martes, Setyembre 23, alas-9 ng umaga. RNT/JGC
