MANILA, Philippines – Pinalawig ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ang tax filing at payment deadlines hanggang sa katapusan ng Hunyo para sa mga taxpayer na apektado ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol sa Mindanao.
Sa ilalim ng Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 062-2026, ang deadline para sa paghahain ng tax returns, pagbabayad ng buwis, at pagpasa ng kaukulang dokumento mula Hunyo 8 hanggang Hunyo 29 ay iniurong sa Hunyo 30.
Sakop nito ang online at manual filings.
Ang relief measure ay para sa mga taxpayer sa General Santos City, Sarangani, at South Cotabato.
“This Circular is being issued in order to provide assistance to taxpayers who were affected by the recent earthquake within the jurisdiction of South Central Mindanao Region, which caused substantial damage to business establishments, government offices, and vital infrastructure, thereby disrupting normal business operations and limiting access to accounting records,” sinabi ng BIR.
