MANILA, Philippines – Inanunsyo ng Department of Transportation na base sa Department of Health circular, ang vaccination certificates para sa inbound travellers ay hindi na kailangang ipakita sa pagpasok sa bansa.
Ayon sa DOH-Bureau of Quarantine Memorandum Circular 2023-06, saklaw ng kautusan ang inbound travelers sa airports at seaports.
“All arriving international travelers are accepted regardless of their vaccination status,” ayon sa DOH.
Malugod namang tinanggap ni DOTr Secretary Jaime Bautista, sa isang Facebook post, ang kamakailang proklamasyon ng Department of Health, at idinagdag na ang DOTr ay mahigpit na nakikipag-ugnayan sa Bureau of Quarantine bago pa man ang anunsyo upang matiyak ang kaligtasan at seguridad ng mga pasahero.
“This is indeed a very welcome development on our part. The DOTr has been coordinating with the DOH through the BOQ to ensure that all passengers are accorded safe and convenient travel. We will implement and follow this,” sabi ni Bautista.
