MANILA, Philippines – Tiniyak ng Department of Justice (DOJ) na ipagkakaloob kay Vice President Sara Duterte ang due process at ipaiiral ang rule of law.
Nakasaad sa statement ng DOJ na gaya ng ibang legal proceedings, ang mga isinampang reklamo ng inciting to sedition at grave threats ng National Bureau of Investigation laban kay VP Sara ay isasailalim sa pagsusuri at preliminary investigation.
“Under the DOJ Circular No 20, the investigating prosecutors must determine whether based on the evidence, their is a prima facie case with reasonable certainty of conviction.”
Siniguro ng DOJ na mabibigyan pagkakataon si Duterte na magsumitenng counter-affidavit at mga ebidensya para kontrahin ang reklamo ng NBI.
