THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Inakusahan ni Vice President Sara Duterte sina Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at dating senador Antonio Trillanes IV na tumulong sa International Criminal Court (ICC) sa kaso laban kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa kanyang talumpati sa The Hague noong Hulyo 29, sinabi ni Duterte na may mga tao sa Pilipinas na sumuporta sa imbestigasyon ng ICC laban sa kanyang ama.
Ayon sa kanya, may mga affidavit umano mula sa dating empleyado ni Ako Bicol Party-list Rep. Zaldy Co na nagsasabing inutusan silang magpalit ng piso sa dolyar para umano sa mga imbestigador ng ICC sa pamamagitan ni Trillanes.
“Former soldiers, former employees of Congressman Zaldy Co already executed affidavits saying that they were told to exchange pesos to dollars because this will be delivered to the ICC investigators through Trillanes,” aniya.
Tinanong niya ang kanyang mga tagasuporta: “How do we characterize Trillanes and Marcos in relation to ICC?” Sumagot ang mga ito ng “Traitor!”, at sinabi ni Duterte: “Yes, they are traitors to a Filipino and to the country.”
Inakusahan din niya ang ICC na kumikilos umano para sa interes nina Marcos at Trillanes at hindi bilang isang independiyenteng hukuman.
“But more than that, ang ICC ay tuta ni Trillanes at ni Marcos. Iyon ‘yun,” saad niya.
“Because the ICC has no other case except for the case of former President Rodrigo Duterte. And they found Marcos, Trillanes, and money in the Philippine case,” dagdag pa niya.
Iginiit din niya na ang kaso laban sa dating pangulo ay may motibong pulitikal.
“This is not about justice. This is about politics in the Philippines,” ayon pa sa kaniya.
Binanggit din ni Duterte ang umano’y sunod-sunod na kaso laban sa mga kaalyado ng dating pangulo, kabilang sina Bato dela Rosa, Rodante Marcoleta, Harry Roque, Bong Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada, at Mike Defensor.
“Who was the first to be sent to detention? Former President Duterte. Who was next? Bato. Next, Marcoleta. Next, Harry Roque, Bong Revilla, Jinggoy Estrada, Mike Defensor. You see the pattern?” aniya.
“Marcos supporting ICC. ICC supporting Marcos,” dagdag pa niya.
Sa pagtatapos ng kanyang talumpati, hinikayat niya ang mga tagasuporta na ipagpatuloy ang panawagan para sa pagpapalaya kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte habang nagpapatuloy ang kaso sa ICC. RNT/MDS
