MANILA, Philippines – Nilinaw ng New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) na walang umiiral na security advisory laban sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) mula sa US Department of Homeland Security.
Ito ay matapos na kumalat sa social media ang larawan ng umano’y security advisory na napag-alamang luma na pala.
Sa abiso, sinabi ng NNIC na nakipag-ugnayan ito sa US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) at kinumpirmang walang umiiral na travel advisory sa NAIA.
“The advisory shown in the image was issued in December 2018 and was rescinded in August 2019… The image is outdated and was accidentally reposted by an airline. It has already been taken down,” saad sa abiso.
“TSA conducts security assessments of NAIA every six months. The most recent assessment, in February 2025, showed major improvements and was the first since 2019 with no new findings,” dagdag pa. RNT/JGC
