MANILA, Philippines- Idineklara ng Palasyo ang Eid’l Fitr, o ang Feast of Ramadhan, na holiday sa Miyerkules, April 10.
Inilabas ng Palasyo ang Proclamation No. 514 na naglalaman ng deklarasyon.
“Now, therefore, I, Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, 10 April 2024, a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of EidI Fitr (Feast of Ramadhan),” anang Chief Executive sa proklamasyon.
Kasunod ito‘Araw ng Kagitingan’ sa April 9, Martes.
Inirekomenda ng National Commission on Muslim Filipinos ang petsa, base sa Malacañang.
“In order to bring the religious and cultural significance of the Eid’l Fitr to the fore of national consciousness, and to allow the entire Filipino nation to join their Muslim brothers and sisters in peace and harmony in the observance and celebration of Eid’l Fitr, it is necessary to declare Wednesday, 10 April 2024,” pahayag ng Pangulo.
