MANILA, Philippines – Inilunsad ng Department of Tourism ang 2024 edition ng “Very Important Pinoy” tour program nito sa Estados Unidos.
Layon nito na himukin ang mga Filipino-Americans, maging ang mga Amerikano, na bumisita sa bansa.
Ang kaibahan ng VIP Tour ngayong taon ay ang mga bagong destinasyon at pagtutok nito sa cultural exploration.
Ang VIP Tour ngayong taon ay magaganap mula Hulyo 21 hanggang 30.
Hinimok naman ni Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez ang mga Filipino sa US na umuwi sa bansa at imbitahan din ang iba na sumama sa kanila.
“The economy in the Philippines is doing well and tourism is up,” ani Romualdez.
“Last year, we had about four million plus and we’re hoping to have more.”
“This is really the right time for many of our friends in the U.S., Filipino-Americans, to come and visit because there are a lot of good things happening in the Philippines in terms of infrastructure, business, and, of course, our relationship with the U.S. is one of its best now,” dagdag niya.
