MANILA, Philippines- Nagtapos ang 37 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) sa minimum and maximum compounds ng Leyte Regional Prison (LRP) ng kanilang senior high school (SHS) education, ayon sa Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) nitong Martes.
Sinabi ng BuCor na nagtapos ang 37 PDLs noong April 15 matapos sumailalim sa 2nd Alternative Learning System (ALS) para sa SHS sa Cagbolo Senior High School.
Sinabi nitong ang graduation ceremony ay “a meaningful testament to the reformation and rehabilitation efforts of Leyte Regional Prison, offering educational opportunities and hope for a brighter future for PDLs.”
“Their completion of academic requirements was certified by Lea A. Robin EdD (Doctor of Education), Public Schools District Supervisor of Abuyog South District, and confirmed by Mariza S. Magan EdD, CESO (Career Executive Service Officer) V Schools Division Superintendent of the Division of Leyte underscoring the program’s adherence to national educational standards,” anito pa.
