MANILA, Philippines – Hinikayat ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang mga household beneficiaries ng Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) na magparehisto ng kanilang demographic at biometric information sa Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
“The PhilSys registration and authentication will serve as an equivalent to compliance of 4Ps households with the monthly Family Development Session (FDS) condition for the October to November 2024 period,”ayon kay 4Ps National Program Manager and Director Gemma Gabuya.
Sinabi ni Director Gabuya, ang pagpaparehisto sa PhilSys ay base na rin sa direktiba ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian upang aniya’y madagdagan ang mga 4Ps household beneficiaries na nakarehistro na sa Philsys o National ID.
“It will be rolled out nationwide in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), with focus on areas in Regions 3 (Central Luzon) and CALABARZON where the logistical support of PSA allows for the saturation of all household members,” ayon pa kay Director Gabuya.
Ayon pa sa 4Ps National Program Manager, ang mga eligible 4Ps beneficiaries ay maaaring makapagparehistro sa mga nakatalagang registration centers, kabilang na rito ang barangay halls, shopping malls, FDS co-location venues, at sa mga lugar na inorganisa ng PSA.
“A household grantee registered to the PhilSys will be entitled to one month of FDS compliance, while households, where all members are registered, will receive two months’ worth of compliance,” paliwanag pa ni Director Gabuya.
Ayon pa kay Director Gabuya ang Philsys registration at authentication ang magbibigay daan sa mga benepisyaryo nito na makuha ang kanilang conditional cash transfers, base na rin sa na-accomplish na program requirements ng benepisyaryo tulad ng health center visits at deworming. (Santi Celario)
