FROM January 10 to 20, 2026, Police Regional Office 6 once again demonstrated why consistency and discipline remain its strongest assets.
Within this short but intense period, a series of successful arrests across Western Visayas highlighted how sustained police work continues to deliver concrete results against criminality.
During these ten days, PRO6 units carried out well-coordinated anti-drug operations that led to the arrest of high-value drug personalities and the seizure of significant quantities of shabu.
These arrests were not the product of chance encounters. They were the result of continuous intelligence gathering, patient surveillance and strategic planning.
Each suspect taken into custody disrupted criminal networks and reduced the flow of illegal drugs into local communities.
At the same time, PRO6 intensified its campaign against wanted persons. From Iloilo to neighboring provinces, individuals facing serious charges such as rape and murder were finally apprehended.
Some had managed to evade arrest for years, but the focused efforts of PRO6 during this period proved that justice may be delayed, but it is never abandoned.
