MANILA, Philippines — Pinalawig ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) hanggang sa susunod na abiso ang bisa ng mga driver’s license at rehistro ng mga sasakyan at motorsiklo na nag-expire simula Hulyo 1, 2026, dahil sa downtime at pagbagal ng Land Transportation Management System (LTMS).
Sa ilalim ng Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5271, sakop din ng extension ang mga conductor’s license, student-driver’s permit at medical certificate na nag-expire simula sa nasabing petsa.
Tiniyak ng LTO na walang sisingiling late fee o penalty sa mga renewal na sakop ng extension habang umiiral ang memorandum.
“The Memorandum Circular shall take effect immediately and shall remain in full force until the MID certifies the complete resolution of the system downtime and slowdown affecting the LTMS, upon which a subsequent Memorandum Circular shall be issued to lift the extension herein granted,” nakasaad sa memorandum.
