MANILA, Philippines – Isang House Resolution ang inihain ng Makabayan Bloc sa Kamara na naglalayong imbestigahan ang may 1,593 kaso ng anomalya sa nagdaang May 12 elections.
Sa House Resolution No. 2291 na inihain nina ACT Teachers Party-list Rep. France Castro, Gabriela Party-list Rep. Arlene Brosas, at Kabataan Party-list Rep. Raoul Manuel, iginiit nilang ang mga anomalya ay naitala mismo ng mga election watchdogs tulad ng Kontra Daya, VoteReportPH, National Movement for Free Elections (NAMFREL), at Computer Professionals Union.
Ayon sa resolusyon, kabilang sa mga naitalang anomalya ang sumusunod:
>798 kaso na may kaugnayan sa mga Automated Counting Machines (ACMs)
>200 kaso ng illegal campaigning
>144 kaso ng voter disenfranchisement
>451 iba pang kaso ng malubhang paglabag sa halalan gaya ng:
>Kawalan ng pagsunod ng Board of Election Inspectors
>Red-tagging
>Election-related violence at harassment
>Vote-buying at vote-selling
>Pamemeke ng balota
>Disinformation
Binibigyang-diin din ng resolusyon ang pangangailangang suriin ang Online Voting and Counting System (OVCS) na ginamit sa overseas voting, partikular na ang kawalan nito ng Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT).
“Beyond technical issues and voter disenfranchisement on election day itself, there have been other election-related issues before, during, and after the elections that have marred the integrity and credibility of the election results,” ayon sa resolusyon.
Iginiit pa ng Makabayan Bloc na dapat ding siyasatin ang paggamit ng ibang software version sa mismong araw ng eleksyon, pati na rin ang isyu ng 5 milyong duplicate votes na nakaapekto sa 15,000 precincts, na posibleng nakaapekto sa ranking ng humigit-kumulang 7,600 kandidato.
