MANILA, Philippines- Nag-abiso ang Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) nitong Linggo ng gabi sa mga piloto na nag-aatas sa kanilang iwasang lumapit sa Mayon Volcano dahil sa phreatic eruption na naganap sa parehong araw.
Anang CAAP sa notice to airmen (NOTAM) nito “flights have been prohibited to operate to operate 10,000 feet from the surface and advised to avoid flying close to the volcano’s summit as ash from the sudden phreatic eruption can be hazardous to aircraft.”
