MANILA, Philippines- Naghain ng karagdagang complaint-affidavits ang Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group laban kay Lucky South 99 representative Cassandra Li Ong, na sumasailalim sa preliminary investigation sa Department of Justice para sa human trafficking.
Dahil sa supplemental complaints na isinumite ng PNP, inilipat ang preliminary investigation wsa Nobyembre 18, 2024.
Nang tanungin ukol sa karagdagang affidavits na isinumite ng PNP, sinabi ng abogado ni Ong na si Raphael Andrada na hindi pa niya nababasa ang dokumento.
“Earlier, it was supposed to be the submission of the counter-affidavits but the PNP-CIDG apparently had supplemental complaints to submit, unfortunately today the witnesses in the supplemental complaint of the PNP-CIDG were not present,” pahayag ni Andrada.
Nakaditene pa rin si Ong sa Correctional Institution for Women matapos itong ipag-utos ng House of Representatives.
“It’s just about what you would expect under ordinary detention circumstances, she is being treated quite fairly there,” ani Andrada. RNT/SA
