MANILA , Philippines– Tiniyak ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) sa publiko na nagbibigay ito ng coverage para sa pagkakaospital dahil sa heat-related illnesses.
“Members and their dependents admitted to any PhilHealth-accredited health facilities due to heat stroke or heat exhaustion are entitled to a benefit package of P12,675,” pahayag ni PhilHealth acting president and chief executive officer Edwin Mercado.
“In cases of heat fatigue requiring hospitalization, the benefit package is at P18,135,” dagdag niya.
Hinihikayat ang mga miyembro at mga pamilya na magsagawa ng early intervention laban sa heat-related conditions at gamitin ang free Konsulta Package para sa konsultasyon at symptom checks upang hindi na lumala. RNT/SA
