MANILA, Philippines- Umabot sa 12,114 examinees ang nakakumpleto ng kanilang registration para sa 2025 online Bar examinations, na idaraos ng Supreme Court (SC) sa September 7, 10 at 14, 2025 sa mga local testing centers.
Ayon sa SC, mula noong Marso 20, bineberipika nito ang pagtala ng 1,239 examinees batay sa itinatakdang requirement gaya ng pagbabayad ng P12,800 na registration fee.
Ang deadline para sa registration ay nitong Lunes, Marso 17.
Ang Chairperson para sa 2025 Bar Examinations Committee ay si SC Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier.
Kabilang sa core subjects sa pagsusulit ay ang Political and Public International Law, Commercial and Taxation Laws, Civil Law, Labor Law and Social Legislation, Criminal Law, Remedial Law at Legal and Judicial Ethics with Practical Exercises.
Sa Bar Bulletin ni Justice Lazaro-Javier, ang pagsusulit ay inihanda niya mismo at ng apat na examiners kada subject para maging mabilis ngunit mabusisi ang ‘correction of answers.’
“There will be a total of 20 essay questions per exam, with only a single question per number. Answers will be graded with a total of 0 to 100 percent or five percent per question. The questions will be straightforward and will be designed to assess the examinee’s understanding of basic and fundamental legal knowledge expected of entrants to the legal profession.” Teresa Tavares
