MELBOURNE—Sinabi ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na wala siyang direktang linya ng komunikasyon kay Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Ito ay sa kabila ng mahigit isang taon matapos na palutangin ng dalawang Pangulo ang nasabing isang paraan ng solusyon sa gitna ng tensyon sa West Philippine Sea.
“At several levels, at several levels. In fact, in January of last year, when I went to Beijing, and I visited with President Xi Jinping, that is what I proposed. A kind of hotline between us, so that if there is a message that needed to be sent from one president to another, we can be assured that that message will reach them,” tugon ni Marcos sa tanong ng press sa Australia.
“And we have sort of established there are several, there are several points of contact at the ministerial level certainly and the sub ministerial level as well,” aniya pa.
Tinanong naman si Marcos kung mayroong personal line na nabuo sa pagitan niya at ni Xi, sinabi niyang “Hindi pa, natatakot ako.”
