MANILA, Philippines – Binuksan ng Department of Science and Technology- NCR (DOST-NCR) ang kauna-unahan nitong innovation hub sa Colegio de Muntinlupa (CDM) para suportahan ang stakelholders sa Muntinlupa, Taguig, Pateros, Paranaque, and Las Pinas (MUNTAPARLAS) areas.
Sa pahayag nitong Biyernes, Abril 17, ang iHub ay magsisilbing collaborative, open-access workspace para sa science-based solutions sa mga isyu sa MUNTAPARLAS.
Ang bagong iHub ay magkokonekta sa mga interesadong researcher sa mga mentor, eksperto at colleagues para pinuhin pa ang kanilang konsepto sa isang workable na solusyon at marketable start-ups sa pamamagitan ng available na tools at resources.
“More than just a facility, the new iHub will serve as a bridge between science, technology, and community development by enabling local technopreneurs and innovators to come up with solutions and opportunities to circumstances that are unique to communities in the MUNTAPARLAS area,” saad pa sa pahayag.
Ang iHub ay sumusuporta sa Project SARAI CeNTRO Hub, na nagpapaunlad naman ng crop technologies at protocols para makatulong sa farming communities sa bansa. RNT/JGC
