Lakas, NP bukas sa alyansa kay Marcos para sa 2025 elections

MANILA, Philippines- Tinanggap ng Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) at Nacionalista Party (NP) nitong Huwebes ang anunsyo ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. na naglalayon ng alyansa sa pagitan nila at ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) ng Pangulo para sa Eleksyon 2025.

Sinabi ni House Assistant Minority Leader Mikaela Suansing ng Nueva Ecija na ikinatutuwa ng Lakas-CMD na naisip ng Pangulo ang Lakas-CMD bilang posibleng kaalyado.

“Kami po ay masaya. And the part of his speech that stood out to me, at the end part, wherein he said that people are excited to have a genuine unity. I believe that in this administration, President Marcos, Jr. is a huge factor in uniting different parties because he can work across party-lines,” wika ni Suansing sa isang press conference.

“The testament to this is that all the priority measures of the administration are already approved in the House,” giit niya.

Sa panig ng Nacionalista Party side, inihayag ni Surigao del Norte lawmaker Ace Barbers na ang pakikipag-ugnayan ni Marcos sa iba’t ibang partido bilang election allies ay nagpapakita ng kanyang commitment sa “unity”.

“This is a good move on the part of the President. This is a manifestation of unity, because we want to come up with a common agenda for the Filipino people. A big step in doing so is calling for a multi-party alliance because we need a democratic strategy in serving our people,” ani Barbers.

“I believe there is no hindrance in PFP forging an alliance with our party. I don’t think that (sealing an alliance) is going to be a problem,” dagdag ng mambabatas.

Si Marcos, Jr. ang presidential bet ng PFP para sa 2022 elections. Subalit, hindi nagkasa ang PFP ng Senate slate sa 2022 polls.

Kabilang sa mga partidong kaalyado ng kaalyado ng Pangulo sa Kamara ang Lakas-CMD sa pangunguna ng pinsan niyang si Speaker Martin Romualdez, Nacionalista Party, National Unity Party at Nationalist People’s Coalition. RNT/SA
