MANILA, Philippines- Natuklasan ang mga labi ng mga tao sa Barangay Baluntay sa Alabel, Sarangani Province nitong araw ng Pasko, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP) – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) nitogn Biyernes.
“Acting on a tip from a confidential informant about a suspected burial site for salvage victims, law enforcement personnel secured the area and began exhumation with the assistance of forensic experts,” pahayag ng CIDG.
“Several skeletal remains were recovered during the operation,” dagdag nito.
Sinabi ni CIDG chief Police Brigadier General Nicolas Torre III na inihayag ng isang saksi na kinilala sa pangalang “Dodong” na isa sa mga labi ay kay “Jomar” ng Polomolok, South Cotabato, na dalawa hanggang tatlong buwan nang nawawala at huling nakitang sakay ng motorsiklo.
“The identification is subject to confirmation through further forensic analysis. The crime scene remains under investigation, and additional updates will be provided as the case progresses,” wika ng CIDG.
