MANILA, Philippines – Pansamantalang sinuspinde ng Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) ang operasyon ng General Santos Airport kasunod ng magnitude 7.8 na lindol at tsunami warning sa Mindanao.
Sa pahayag, idinagdag din ng CAAP na epektibo ang Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) mula 8:45 ng umaga hanggang alas-3 ng hapon.
“Assessments of air navigation facilities, equipment, and operational capabilities are currently underway to ensure the continued safety and integrity of airport operations,” ayon sa CAAP.
“Passengers are advised to coordinate with their respective airlines for updates on the status of their flights,” dagdag pa. RNT/JGC
