MANILA, Philippines – Pinagmulta ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board-Davao (LTFRB-11) ang operator ng taxi kung saan ang drayber nito ay naningil ng sobra sa kanyang mga pasahero.
Pinagmulta ng LTFRB-11 ang operator ng P5,000 matapos na maningil ang drayber ng taxi ng halos P3,000 ng pamasahe sa mag-asawa para sa biyaheng 12-kilometro lamang patungong Davao City Overland Transport Terminal mula sa Davao International Airport.
Samantala, pagdedesisyunan naman ng Land Transportation Office-Davao (LTO-11) kung ano ang ipapataw na parusa para sa taxi driver.
“It’s a separate penalty for the driver because they are also conducting their (LTO-11) own investigation. From our end, it’s already decided that the operator has the obligation to cater the needs of the passenger and that is stipulated in their franchises. It is already found out that there is a breach of franchise in their conditions that’s why the operator is penalized,” ayon kay LTFRB-11 Director, Nonito Llanos III. RNT/JGC
