MANILA, Philippines – Pinagaan ng Department of Justice (DoJ) ang proseso ng pagsasampa ng survivorship claims para sa pamilya ng mga namatay na prosecutor.
Sinabi ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla na ang pinasimple na proseso ay makakatulong ng malaki sa naulilang pamilya upang agad makuha ang mga benepisyo na para sa kanila.
“No amount of money will ever be enough to pay for the priceless service our dearly departed prosecutors have rendered to the country in order to uphold the rule of law and guarantee the efficient administration of justice,” ani Remulla.
Binigyan-diin ng kalihim na malaki ang isinakripisyo ng pamilya ng mga piskal kung saan hindi nila ipinagkait ang kanilang mahal sa buhay para makapagsilbi sa lipunan.
“Their remaining loved ones have sacrificed so much for the welfare of the Filipino people by sharing with society the time and life of our deceased prosecutors, hence, it must be the state’s obligation to ensure their loved ones are well taken care of and given a bright future.”
Salig sa Department Circular No. 038, series of 2023, ang survivorship claims ay maari lamang isumite ng naulilang lehitimong asawa at anak o ang legal guardian o otorisadong kinatawan ng kwalipikadong beneficiary. Teresa Tavares
